Emmanuel Pierre

The Parisian artist Emmanuel Pierre gently casts his irony over our times, with its sad clumsiness, petty pretensions and subtle perversions in a parallel universe.

His collages and drawings on old papers and engravings depict wacky, grotesque, and eccentric characters who sometimes hide behind strange animals that he crafts with the brilliance of tenderness. His light and meticulous precision gives his creations the allusive force of a discreet poetry. Although we cannot predict today what the fruit of his disillusioned imagination will be, we can nevertheless predict that there will be more of it to come.
